    Dr. Annie Varughese, MD, FACC, is a highly renowned interventional cardiologist and international speaker regarding the issues of Preventive Cardiology and of Women and Heart Disease. She practices the art of Cardiovascular Medicine in Houston, Texas and serves as Chief of Cardiovascular Services at North Houston Family Medicine and The Woodlands Specialty Hospital. She is Past Executive Vice President, The Americas for Mediglobe Medical Tourism. She is founder of Advanced Cardiovascular Care Center and has been CEO there for 28 years, and her latest endeavor is her New Clinic——Texas Heart and Medical Center where her Reverse CardioDiabetes Program and ECP Life Flow will be showcased in the Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai, UAE.

    She brings a vast experience of over 28 years both here in the USA and in Dubai. She is a visiting Consultant Interventional Cardiologist in Prime Hospital Dubai and has former experience as Specialist Cardiologist at German Heart Centre, Dubai Healthcare City, as well as previous experience as Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at American Wellness Center, Dubai with a special focus on Prevention and Reversal of Vascular Disease and Diabetes.

    Dr. Varughese is also Adjunct Professor for The Medical Humanities at Baylor University, Texas, USA as well as member of Emirates Medical Association and Emirates Cardiac Society.

    Dr. Varughese is proud to announce a recent position as Teaching Faculty for American Board of Regenerative Medicine/
    Kiwan Regenerative Cardiology Fellowship.

    Her passion for teaching has encompassed a worldwide audience, as she is now lecturing for the advancement of Doctors around the globe with her efforts for the International Society of Endovascular Specialists as well as the International ECP Association.

    She raised herself from humble beginnings and attended the Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Georgia, subsequently completing her residency in Internal Medicine and Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She then attended The Texas Heart Institute/Baylor College of Medicine for further training in Interventional Cardiology. She is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, certified in Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology and for many years she held the title of Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She was rewarded for her hard work when she was voted one of America’s Top Cardiologists/ Consumer Research Council of America for 2011. She has earned many awards and accolades which include being a member of Trademark’s Who’s Who Among Professionals in America.

    Her own private practice, Advanced Cardiovascular Care Center, has been an establishment of the area of Northwest Houston and The Woodlands and Conroe for over twenty-eight years. She is also owner of North Houston Family Medicine which has served the Houston and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

    She now promotes her message of wellness at medical conventions and seminars all over the world, imploring the public to do the little things that will keep their heart ticking. Having accomplished so much in her own life, she wants to ensure that her patients are, likewise, healthy enough to achieve their dreams. She has co-authored two books: The High- Octane Teen and How to Be A Healthier Slimmer You. Dr. Varughese has always enjoyed teaching health and wellness and she now has the opportunity to do such in her Web Series “Live the V-Life With Dr. Annie”featuring the latest in Health and Beauty. Dr. Annie Varughese is also Past Chair of The American Heart Association Go Red For Women for 2014-2015.
